The concept of this project is to make a new typesetting system fitting for the digital publishing era based on web browser technology.
We are aiming for:
– enhancing typography and layout capability of web browsers, to be used as typesetting engines for both electronic and print publishing
also implementing CSS typesetting features with JavaScript (polyfills)
cooperating with the W3C standardization of CSS typesetting specifications, and advancing implementation
